CAMPUS: AN EARTHLY PARADISE.
“The story of determination and diligence.” Would you not want to listen to story with such a caption? Captivating; gets you adjusting your position of rest, captures your attention and you give it that smile hoping for a story well told and you settle to give it that perfect read.
The story betters with every line. Before you know it, you are absorbed into the story; eyes glued, only rolling from one end of a line to other, the head as motionless as a tree. Well, you might ask what all the determination and diligence is all about given that you are not actually reading the story(with the fact that you are reading this article in assumption).
The determination story is a that of a pupil. A pupil in primary school. The pupil works hard, does well in the final examinations and books a slot in a good secondary school. That is success enough; but out of passion, determination and diligence, more follows.
The student (our pupil approximately a year ago), is now in high school thus a student. Success is still the craving for this young soul. Determination is still the driving force and passion works to better up the whole thing. Four years elapse and he is out with, well you guessed right, an outstanding result. He is again booked for higher studies in the university, a place where life is now made, as they say.
Our student is now in campus. You are now aware of what the determination and diligence story entails. Back to our virtual story.
We were at a point where you had given the story that attention and you were just in the course of that perfect reading. The story continues and you fall for the flow. You are overexcited and is amazingly multitasking; wondering at the prowess of the author and doing the read at the same time. You get into the climax of the story at the point where the student joins campus and look at you…You don’t even realize its the climax.
The student is absorbed into campus life. And my story begins; CAMPUS LIFE. With all the truth in the title of this article, campus life is a pure irony. It is where people enjoy and it’s where the same people suffer. Campus will just make you taste both sides of life. In my one academic year stay here, I have experienced, beyond doubt, what its like to be here. In campus, there are two types of people; both yearning to achieve. What gives the difference is the objective.
There are students whose desires are to achieve; academically and being that everybody here is an adult, working again to curve their niche in the public domain. Such students are always on the run and are giving it their all in a bid to succeed. They have that inner burning desire to bring forth change. Some are just extremely amazing. As young as they are, some are already celebrities, their diligence has been rewarded and are making positive impacts in the society.
Then there is this lot of layabouts. They too have a desire. They are dangerously on drugs and are involved in any form malpractices that may cross your mind. They are the goons, they are feared and always in a gang. They are still university students. This forms the climax of our virtual story. An innocent high school graduate takes this path and tables turn over all of a sudden.
Staying in university requires some sort of wisdom. Wisdom that comes with observation and the ability to evaluate what’s good and what’s bad. Wisdom that comes by carefully selecting your friends. Wisdom that comes with the strength to say NO to anything that may destroy you; regardless of who or where it is from. That’s the only way to live a purposeful life in campus. “You are what you choose to be.” Its perfect practical scenes are here with us; in campus.

It's a great work of art. What i can say after going through it is that, the flow of the story is stammering, it needs a bit of improvement. As a young , upcoming writer you must consider that rather than creatcreating lots of suspense on the first sight.
